ACM Special Interest Group on Applied Computing (SIGAPP)
In an effort to aid the SAC community during the economic fallout caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic, the SIGAPP executive committee, the SAC steering committee, and ACM have collectively decided to fully refund SAC 2020 registration fees. No action is required on your part. Our registration team will immediately start processing a 100% refund to your original payment method, but please be informed that the process could take a few weeks to complete. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your understanding and support in this difficult time.

Please note that authenticated access is required. Credentials have been communicated to attendees by email.
The web platform will be kept open till April 19.
Note that:
This has been possible thanks to the hard work of Dr. Tomas Cerny and his team, and to the contribution of the authors of SAC 2020 papers, with the support of Track Chairs.
This year, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, ACM SAC had no chance to be held in the ordinary in-person format. Instead, the organizing committee and all the authors did their best to keep the possibility to present research works and share comments and ideas in a new format, by means of an online web platform. Authenticated access will be given to people who registered to SAC 2020. To help overcoming issues due to time differences for attendees all over the world, no strict timings will be enforced: the web platform will be kept open till mid-April 2020 and all the interactions will occur on dedicated chats; any attendee will be free to browse contents at her/his will, and post comments on chats. The SAC web platform is expected to go online on March 31st, but there might be some delay, as we all are working on a last-minute contingency plan: please stay tuned for updates. Attendees will be informed by email as soon as possible on how to access the online platform.
Thanks to the whole SAC community for its support in this tough time!
We are closely monitoring the situation. Please keep checking this page for updates.
As of March 17, 2020,
SAC 2020 Organizing Committee sent out an email about providing the online presentation and downloading the proceedings.
If you did not receive the email, please contact Dr. Junyoung Heo, the registrar of the conference, at jyheo@hansung.ac.kr
As of March 13, 2020, SAC 2020 has been converted from a face-to-face conference to the online format, where authors are required to submit their video presentation on the website. In addition, a copy of SAC 2020 proceedings will be ready for download soon. Details will be posted as soon as we setup the website for posting the proceedings and video presentations.
As of March 10, 2020, the face-to-face meeting is cancelled, and detailed information will be released in few days.
As of March 3, 2020, the SAC 2020 is still scheduled to be held as planned.
The safety and well-being of all conference participants is our priority.
We are following updates on the situation from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
We urge all attendees to keep informed on risks, precautions, and symptoms to make educated decisions.
Together with ACM and SIGAPP, the SAC 2020 team has developed the following guidelines for traveling or presenting at SAC 2020.
Attendees and Authors
If you have registered for the conference but are unable to attend based on WHO or CDC advisories, government restrictions or your employer,
please contact Dr. Junyoung Heo, the registrar of the conference, at jyheo@hansung.ac.kr.
SAC 2020 will be extending full registration refunds to those unable to attend due to the above reasons.
Refunds based on employer restrictions will require official employer documentation.
Please note that your paper will not appear in the ACM Digital Library (DL) if you cancel your registration.
For authors who will not be able to present their papers due to travel restrictions, please inform Track Chairs (TCs) of your track where their paper will be presented that a co-author can present on your behalf. In such cases, Dr. Junyoung Heo can help you change your registration to a co-author. If a co-author is unable to present on your behalf, please see below:

In participating SAC’19, you acknowledge ACM’s Policy Against Harassment at ACM Activities and agree that behavior such as the following will constitute grounds for actions against you:
Paper registration is required, allowing the inclusion of the papers and posters in the conference proceedings. An author or a proxy attending SAC MUST present the paper. This is a requirement for all accepted papers, posters, and invited SRC submissions to be included in the ACM digital library. No-show of scheduled papers, posters, and student research abstracts will result in excluding them from the ACM digital library.
As instructed in the author kit, authors will receive an email from ACM that contains info on how to complete and submit the copyright. The email from ACM contains a link to the copyright webpage where authors will need to check the title and author names of their paper, correct them if wrong, and then submit the completed copyright form to the ACM system by clicking a submit button. Authors need to upload the final camera-ready copies (papers, posters, and SRC abstracts) to the START system so that they are verified for inclusion in the proceedings.
