Visa Information

• Visa Policy of Cyprus

  Third country nationals must apply and obtain an airport transit visa or a visa for admission to the Republic of Cyprus, for 90 days or less, as visitors for business or pleasure. The visa requirement for entering Cyprus is waived on the basis of the EU relevant Regulations for the citizens of certain countries." For more information about Visa Policy of Cyprus, visit HERE.

• ACM Visa Support Letter

  The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) does not issue formal invitation letters for visas to attend ACM sponsored conferences. However, ACM can issue a visa support letter. For visa support letters, please send all requests to the Office of SIG Services at supportletters@acm.org. Please be sure to include all of the following information in your original email:

  1. Your name as it appears on your passport
  2. Your current postal mailing address
  3. The name of the conference (ACM SAC )
  4. Your Registration Confirmation number
  5. If you have any papers accepted for the conference, please provide the title and indicate whether you are the ‘sole author’ or a ‘co- author’

  All this information is necessary, and omitting any of it will delay the issuing of the support letter. Visa support letters are answered in the order they are received. You will receive a PDF letter by email within the 4-5 business days. Please note that ACM does not fax visa support letters. The PDF serves as a signed electronic version of the original letter which will be mailed to your current mailing address. If you do not receive the letter by post mail on time for your visa appointment, please print out your PDF letter and take it with you.

  Larnaca Airport to Limassol City
  Once you arrive at Larnaca Airport, you can use the Limassol Airport Express service to Limassol (last bus stop AGIOS GEORGIOS HAVOUZAS or the TOURIST AREA near the hotel St. Raphael (venue); 50 minutes shuttle service).   Paphos Airport to Limassol City approx. 45 min
  Once you arrive at Paphos Airport, you can use the Limassol Airport Express service to Limassol (AGIOS GEORGIOS HAVOUZAS bus stop; 45 minutes shuttle service). Please visit http://enlimassolairportexpress.eu/ for more information and timetables.

  Limassol City to Your Hotel
  You can use the public bus system called EMEL, Limassol District Transport Organization, to find a route to your accommodation hotel. Please visit http://en.limassolbuses.com/ for more information and timetables.

  Taxi
  You can book airport transfers at https://www.easyconferences.org/ as part of Online Registration (subject to availability). The transfers can be either private or shared (a max of 3 people); meet & greet inclusive.
  There will be a taxi driver waiting for you after Customs Formalities with a sign stating the conference name. You simply need to say your name to the driver, and he/she will escort you to your hotel.
