Start out going North of Rodgers Blvd toward North Nimitz Hwy (0.1 miles).

Turn Right onto Kalia Rd..

Transportation to Hotel

The local organization committee arranged for local transport services between Honolulu Airport and HHV.

Roberts Hawaii (Airport Waikiki Express): This is a shuttle service. The provider does not take reservations. One needs to look for them after getting out of the luggage area. However, they recommend you to call them before coming to Hawaii to get information on where to find them. The cost is US$9 one way and US$15 round trip. You pay on-site, they run every 20 - 30 minutes (from 5:00am - 3:00am) and every hour ((from 3:00am - 5:00am), 24/7. Phone number: 808 954 8652.

The Cab: This is a taxi service. The cost to HHV is about US$35 for one way. It runs 24/7. Phone number: 808 422 2222. Taxi Service is available on the center median fronting the terminal baggage claim areas. See the taxi dispatchers (green shirts with black lettering, and the wording "TAXI DISPATCHER") for service. The fare from the airport to Waikiki during non-rush hour periods is approximately $35.00-$40.00.

Visa Information

For traveling to the United States, attendees should be particularly aware and careful about Visa requirements and should plan travel well in advance. ACM will assist SAC 2009 attendees in this matter. Please direct your questions regarding visa matters to Irene Frawley at frawley@acm.org . If you require a visa memo, please send your name, mailing address and fax number to frawley@acm.org and for those with accepted papers, please include the title and all authors of your paper. All this information is necessary, and omitting any of it will delay the issuing of the memo. Mrs. Frawley will assist in providing visa memos for attending the conference. Please note that it may take several days for a visa memo to be sent out after it is requested. Please plan accordingly.
