This special issue is the second of a two-part series on software reuse, guest edited by Giancarlo Succi. This issue concentrates on open perspectives in software reuse.
At SAC '97, the SIGAPP Executive Committee decided to reconstitute the Applied Computing Review Editorial Board as consisting of the track chairs of SAC, which are rotated annually, as well as individuals who are making significant editorial contribution to ACR. All contributors are highly welcome.
